Maintenance Technician at Bleckmann

✔️ Perform scheduled maintenance activities, including the sprinkler system, water flushing, emergency and internal lighting, fire alarms, sanitary ware, and disabled refuge systems.

✔️ Carry out minor repairs, such as fixing kitchen and bathroom leaks/plumbing, painting, and general property maintenance, including external repairs.

✔️ Welcome and assist contractors for Planned Preventative Maintenance, providing access, induction, permits, sign-in, monitoring visits, and work sign-off.

✔️ Collaborate with the Facilities Coordinator and Health & Safety team to ensure permits, risk assessments, and insurance documents are supplied before visits.

✔️ Respond promptly to emergency repairs, prioritizing tasks and reporting any interruptions or concerns to ensure Business Continuity.

✔️ 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role.

✔️ Proficiency in planned maintenance activities, including sprinkler systems, water flushing, emergency lighting, and fire alarms.

✔️ Ability to carry out minor repairs, such as plumbing, painting, and general property maintenance.

✔️ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to emergency repairs efficiently.

✔️ Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with contractors and internal teams.
